Meow is built with privacy at its core. As an independent application, we believe your conversations with AI should remain private and under your control.

Data Storage

• Chat Data: All your conversations and project data are stored exclusively in your personal iCloud account. We have no access to this data.
• Local Storage: Some data may be cached locally on your device for performance purposes.
• Sync: Data synchronization happens directly through your iCloud account, ensuring your data stays within Apple's ecosystem.

Analytics and Error Reporting

We use minimal analytics to improve Meow and fix issues:

• Error Tracking: We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error data. This helps us identify and fix technical issues.
• Usage Analytics: We use PostHog to understand how features are used and what needs improvement. This data is anonymized and includes:
  • Feature usage patterns
  • App performance metrics
  • Basic interaction data

No chat content or personal conversations are ever included in analytics or error reporting.

Third-Party Services

• MistralAI: Your interactions with MistralAI's services are governed by their privacy policy. We only facilitate the connection using your provided API key, your API key is never stored on our side, and obfuscated if an network request is intercepted.
• iCloud: Data storage and synchronization use Apple's iCloud services, subject to Apple's privacy policies.

Data Control

• You can clear all local data from the application at any time
• Removing the app from your device will remove all local data
• Your iCloud data remains under your control through your Apple ID
